A journey on one of the Steam Trains from Embsay takes you through the picturesque Yorkshire Dales scenery to Bolton Abbey station.

Steam trains run every Sunday, with Summer services up to 7 days a week. In addition to the steam services, there are Diesel services, Stately Trains and Special Events. You can even have a day out with Thomas the Tank Engine on some Bank Holiday weekends!

Embsay Railway ticket prices when we visited in August 2010 were as follows (If you are not travelling, platform tickets are one pound for adults.):
